About the Role
As a Hematology/Oncology, Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Physician at Children's Mercy Hospital, you will join the Division of Hematology/Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT) as a new faculty member supporting the BMT and cellular therapy service. This Kansas City–based position centers on delivering expert clinical care to young patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and immune effector cell therapies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical care for pediatric patients receiving hematopoietic stem cell transplants.
- Support and help advance the division's BMT and cellular therapy program.
- Manage care involving immune effector cell therapies for children and adolescents.
- Contribute as a collaborative faculty member within the Division of Hematology/Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplantation.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent).
- Board eligibility or board certification in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
- Demonstrated clinical experience caring for pediatric hematopoietic stem cell transplant patients.
- Familiarity with immune effector cell therapy preferred.
