About the Role
As an Appellate and Litigation Support Attorney with MBC Talent Connections, you will work hand in hand with trial counsel on demanding civil litigation and appellate matters. This on-site Jacksonville position is built for a lawyer who thrives on shaping case strategy, owning appeals from the earliest research stages through briefing and the preparation of oral argument.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic litigation support to trial attorneys throughout complex civil disputes.
- Manage appellate cases end to end, from initial legal research and issue spotting to final briefing.
- Draft clear, well-reasoned briefs, motions, and memoranda that advance each client's position.
- Assist in readying oral arguments and refining the legal theories behind them.
- Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate case strategy and ensure consistent, high-quality work product.
Qualifications
- Licensed attorney with proven experience handling civil litigation and appellate work.
- Exceptional legal writing skills and the ability to construct compelling, organized arguments.
- Strong analytical mindset for dissecting complex records and identifying winning issues.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach to supporting trial attorneys.
- Comfortable managing multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced practice.
