About the Role
As the Senior Director - U.S. Ethics & Compliance Advisor (HIV), you will serve as a trusted partner to commercial, medical, and operational leaders, providing expert guidance on ethics and compliance matters tied to Gilead's HIV portfolio. This full-time, on-site position in Foster City places you at the center of a mission to advance therapies responsibly and protect patient trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise U.S. business teams on ethics and compliance considerations specific to the HIV franchise.
- Translate regulatory requirements and company policies into practical, actionable guidance.
- Partner cross-functionally with commercial, medical affairs, and legal stakeholders to assess and mitigate risk.
- Support the design, communication, and reinforcement of compliance programs and standards.
- Help foster a culture of accountability and ethical decision-making throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in ethics, compliance, or related advisory roles within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. healthcare regulations and industry codes relevant to therapeutic commercialization.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex, ambiguous situations.
- Excellent judgment, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with the HIV treatment landscape is highly desirable.
