Assoc Director, Clinical Operations, Clinical Site Partner (Inflammation)

Gilead Sciences is hiring an Associate Director of Clinical Operations to lead clinical site partnerships and trial execution for inflammation studies across the United States. About the Role

As Associate Director of Clinical Operations with a focus on Clinical Site Partnerships, you'll oversee the successful execution of clinical trials while building and maintaining strong relationships with investigator sites. You'll manage operational workflows, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the delivery of high-quality clinical data that accelerates drug development in the inflammation therapeutic area.

What You'll Do

• Direct clinical operations strategy and execution across partner sites and investigator networks
• Establish and strengthen partnerships with clinical research institutions and site leadership
• Oversee protocol implementation, regulatory submissions, and compliance frameworks
• Monitor site performance metrics, enrollment progress, and data quality standards
• Lead cross-functional teams including site coordinators, monitors, and regulatory specialists
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and timelines for clinical trial programs
• Develop site training programs and operational guidance documentation
• Conduct site audits and implement corrective actions when needed
• Serve as primary liaison between Gilead leadership and clinical research partners

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of clinical operations, trial management, or site partnership experience
• Demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance and GCP guidelines
• Proven track record managing multiple clinical programs simultaneously
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with clinical sites
• Experience with inflammation or immunology research a plus
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in clinical trial software and data systems
