Network Specialist- Outside Plant Construction

Telephone & Data Systems is seeking a full-time Network Specialist - Outside Plant Construction to join its TDS Telecom operations in Mooresville, Iredell County, where connecting communities through advanced fiber technology is the core of our mission.

About the Role

As a Network Specialist focused on Outside Plant (OSP) Construction, you will help bring high-speed fiber internet to the people and neighborhoods of Mooresville, Iredell County. This on-site, full-time position centers on coordinating and overseeing the construction activities that build and strengthen our physical network infrastructure, ensuring projects move forward smoothly from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support outside plant construction projects that expand TDS Telecom's fiber internet footprint.
• Oversee the day-to-day progress of network construction work to keep timelines, quality, and standards on track.
• Collaborate with internal teams and field crews to deliver reliable connectivity to local communities.
• Help ensure construction efforts align with company expectations for safety, accuracy, and excellence.

Qualifications

• Background or experience related to telecommunications, outside plant, or network construction.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage multiple construction activities at once.
• A collaborative mindset and a commitment to doing high-quality work that makes a measurable difference.
• Willingness to work on-site in Mooresville, Iredell County, as this role is not remote.
