Helper, MEP

Ghobash Group is recruiting a Helper, MEP to join our Services and Engineering division in Abu Dhabi. This is a full-time position based on-site, offering an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems alongside experienced professionals.

About This Position

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Helper, MEP to support our skilled technicians and engineers in delivering high-quality mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations and maintenance services across Abu Dhabi. In this hands-on role, you will gain valuable experience in MEP systems whilst ensuring projects run smoothly and safely. This position is ideal for individuals eager to build a career in the engineering and services sector.

Core Duties

• Assist MEP technicians and engineers with installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Prepare work sites, including tool setup, safety protocols, and site organisation
• Handle and transport materials, equipment, and components safely and efficiently
• Support asset maintenance and troubleshooting under supervision
• Clean and maintain work areas and equipment to health and safety standards
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols on-site
• Assist with documentation and record-keeping as required

Requirements

• Willingness to learn and develop practical skills in MEP systems
• Physical fitness and ability to work in various on-site environments across Abu Dhabi
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious approach to work
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Valid UAE identification and work permit eligibility
