Foreman, Mechanical

Ghobash Group is seeking an experienced Foreman, Mechanical to lead and manage mechanical operations on-site in Abu Dhabi. This contract role offers the opportunity to oversee project delivery, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate skilled teams across mechanical installations and maintenance work.

The Opportunity

As a Foreman, Mechanical with Ghobash Group, you will take a leadership role in delivering mechanical projects within our Services and Engineering division. Working directly on-site in Abu Dhabi, you'll manage day-to-day mechanical operations, supervise workforce performance, and maintain the high standards of quality and safety that define our work. This contract position is ideal for an experienced mechanical professional ready to step into a supervisory role.

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical installation, assembly, and maintenance activities on-site
• Manage and coordinate mechanical teams, ensuring productivity and adherence to schedules
• Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety regulations
• Conduct daily site inspections and identify risks or issues requiring immediate attention
• Prepare and maintain project records, progress reports, and documentation
• Liaise with project management, clients, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure all personnel follow health, safety, and environmental procedures

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Foreman, Mechanical, or equivalent supervisory role in mechanical work
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and industry best practices
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid certifications in safety, first aid, or relevant mechanical qualifications (preferred)
• Ability to work on-site full-time under contract conditions in Abu Dhabi
