Head of Business Operations / Senior Business Operations Manager – all genders welcome!

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential sports lifestyle company based in München. This fast-growing organization is looking for a Head of Business Operations or Senior Business Operations Manager to join their international team of 85+ professionals. In this role, you'll serve as the central planning and coordination hub across revenue and marketing functions, translating strategic targets into actionable operational plans and ensuring alignment across five independent teams.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, innovative environment where you'll make independent decisions on promotional calendars and team prioritization while collaborating closely with C-level leadership.

Responsibilities

• Break down monthly and quarterly D2C targets into weekly and daily operational plans with specific product and campaign references
• Develop target proposals for executive approval and maintain the product and promotional calendar
• Ensure lead times across E-commerce, CRM, Performance Marketing, Brand, and Tech teams
• Identify and resolve scheduling deviations early to prevent operational gaps
• Lead weekly trading reviews and analyze performance challenges
• Develop solutions collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Support expansion of planning processes to additional sales channels including retail and marketplace platforms
• Make independent decisions regarding promotional calendars, discounts, and team prioritization

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of professional experience in business operations, consulting, chief of staff roles, commercial operations, or program management in complex organizational environments
• Fluency in both German and English (spoken and written)
• Strong commercial numerical understanding with the ability to interpret and act on data rather than simply report it
• Exceptional organizational skills to coordinate multiple teams, identify dependencies early, and ensure alignment
• Critical thinking mindset to challenge the status quo and contribute strategic ideas
• Structured, forward-thinking approach to planning and problem-solving
• Strong communication skills to influence and collaborate with experienced team leads as equals
• Background in performance marketing, content, or e-commerce technology is a plus but not required
