Shape the future of artificial intelligence at Jobgether—a remote-based UK technology company seeking an experienced Head of AI. The Opportunity

This is a unique chance to direct AI research and engineering whilst remaining deeply engaged in implementation. You'll take ownership of machine learning initiatives—from algorithm design through to production systems—working with teams to develop advanced language models, intelligent autonomous systems, and rigorous evaluation methodologies. Operating in a remote-first, high-velocity environment, you'll shape technical decisions that create real competitive advantage, collaborating with experienced engineering leadership to tackle problems most organisations haven't yet solved at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute AI strategy that directly impacts product capability and market position
• Lead research and prototyping efforts on advanced language models and agent-based systems
• Oversee design, testing, and deployment of machine learning solutions for security-focused applications
• Build and mentor an engineering team responsible for AI systems development
• Establish evaluation frameworks and quality standards for production AI systems
• Collaborate across functions to align technical AI roadmap with business objectives

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading artificial intelligence or machine learning engineering teams
• Deep technical expertise in large language models and autonomous agent systems
• Track record of shipping production-grade machine learning systems at scale
• Strong foundation in AI research methodologies and experimentation practices
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical challenges into business value
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, remote environment with high autonomy
