DevOps Engineer

About This Position

As a DevOps Engineer at Jobgether, you'll architect and operate infrastructure solutions that enable the organization to scale reliably and deploy with confidence. This role places you at the center of how applications move from development through production, working with modern tools and methodologies to keep systems running smoothly across cloud and on-premises environments. You'll own portions of the deployment pipeline, guide teams on infrastructure best practices, and champion improvements that directly enable faster, safer feature releases.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure that supports large-scale digital platforms and services
• Develop and improve deployment automation, testing workflows, and operational processes to increase consistency and reduce manual effort
• Monitor system performance and reliability, investigating issues and implementing solutions across cloud and traditional infrastructure
• Collaborate with development, quality assurance, and operations teams to streamline software delivery and accelerate time-to-market
• Establish and refine DevOps standards, tools, and practices across the engineering organization
• Lead incident response efforts, capacity planning, and disaster recovery initiatives

Skills & Qualifications

• Professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or in infrastructure, platform engineering, or systems engineering roles
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid scripting and automation skills in languages like Python, Bash, or Go
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and CI/CD pipeline tools
• Understanding of networking, databases, security principles, and system architecture
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and communicate effectively across technical teams
