DevOps Engineer

Jobgether is recruiting a DevOps Engineer to work with our team across Ireland in a full-time, remote capacity. You'll develop and maintain the infrastructure foundations that enable digital services to operate reliably and efficiently at scale.

Role Overview

In this position, you'll serve as a critical bridge between development and operations, managing systems that power our platform's performance and stability. The role focuses on infrastructure automation, deployment strategy, and operational excellence—areas where your expertise will directly shape how reliably and quickly we deliver software. You'll join a team that prioritises hands-on technical solutions, continuous advancement, and systematic problem-solving across distributed environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain infrastructure architectures spanning cloud platforms and on-premises systems
• Create and refine automated deployment pipelines to accelerate the software release cycle
• Strengthen system reliability, performance, and security through monitoring, alerting, and incident management
• Establish infrastructure-as-code frameworks and standardised configuration practices across teams
• Collaborate with developers, QA specialists, and operations staff to deliver integrated technical solutions
• Introduce and embed emerging DevOps methods and industry standards into day-to-day practice

What We're Looking For

• Substantial experience provisioning and managing infrastructure at production scale
• Advanced competency in scripting and automation frameworks for complex environments
• Practical expertise with cloud infrastructure platforms and/or on-premises operations
• Proven track record designing and operating CI/CD and deployment workflows
• Demonstrated ability supporting production systems and resolving issues efficiently
• Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to knowledge transfer across disciplines
