Role Overview

As a member of the bar and waiting team at Greene King in Inverness, you'll play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our guests. Your work will span the full scope of front-of-house operations—from greeting customers and taking orders to preparing drinks and clearing tables—ensuring every visit reflects our commitment to hospitality excellence. This part-time role offers the flexibility to balance work with other commitments whilst contributing meaningfully to a busy, dynamic venue.

Your Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and seat them promptly; manage reservations and walk-in traffic
• Take food and drink orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen and bar teams
• Serve beverages with knowledge of our drinks range; prepare and present orders to specification
• Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout service
• Process payments and manage the till or payment system with accuracy
• Respond attentively to guest requests and resolve any concerns with professionalism
• Support the team in maintaining stock, cleaning duties, and adhering to health and safety protocols
