Graduate Software Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential logistics technology organization in their search for a Graduate Software Engineer to join their London team. Our client is a well-funded, rapidly scaling operation that is reimagining how goods move in the modern economy. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a highly technical team working on challenging problems at the intersection of software engineering, data science, and operations research.

You'll work alongside a talent-dense engineering organization building systems that handle thousands of data points per parcel, developing everything from API design to courier-facing applications to ML-powered infrastructure. This role offers genuine ownership and impact from day one, with exposure to cloud-native systems, data pipelines, and emerging technologies including robotics and IoT integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core API concepts that power the platform
• Build courier-facing software guiding the delivery of thousands of parcels daily
• Contribute to data infrastructure supporting routing, topology management, and operations research systems
• Spend time in the field understanding how your technology impacts couriers and end users
• Work across the full stack—from cloud infrastructure to frontend development—taking on challenges as they arise
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and collaborative problem-solving with cross-functional teams

What We're Looking For

• Final year university student or recent graduate with engineering experience through internships and academic projects
• Available to start in Summer 2026
• Able to work in London office 4 days per week (hybrid arrangement)
• Experience working on high-performing teams building software
• Broad exposure across various technology stacks and willingness to learn new ones
• High agency and ownership mindset—you take initiative and drive impact
• Empathy for end users and commitment to seeking feedback from customers and colleagues
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach
• Enthusiasm for tackling challenging problems from first principles
