We are representing a confidential insurance organization seeking an Assistant Auto Insurance Product Manager. Our client is a well-established carrier serving millions of customers nationwide, and they're looking for an analytical, customer-focused professional to join their Commercial Auto Product Management team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape product strategy and development in the commercial auto insurance space. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, define solutions, and deliver impactful product enhancements that drive business value and improve customer experiences.

Responsibilities

As Assistant Product Manager, your core responsibilities will include:

• Identifying opportunities to improve products, processes, and customer experiences through data analysis and stakeholder feedback
• Gathering business requirements and translating complex problems into clear, actionable product solutions
• Researching, developing, and prioritizing product enhancements aligned with business objectives
• Partnering with Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Operations teams throughout the product development lifecycle
• Monitoring product performance and leveraging key metrics to measure business outcomes
• Serving as a subject matter expert for assigned products and initiatives
• Supporting product launches, process improvements, stakeholder communications, and training efforts
• Presenting findings, recommendations, and business cases to leadership and cross-functional partners

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 3+ years of experience in insurance, product management, business analysis, or a related field
• Auto insurance industry experience required; Commercial Auto experience strongly preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proven ability to translate business needs into product requirements and actionable solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and managing competing priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience identifying and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Experience using data to measure product performance and business impact
• Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI, Python, R, SAS, SQL, or similar platforms
