Value Realization Manager

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential global professional services organization in their search for a Value Realization Manager based in Spain. This role sits at the intersection of finance transformation and strategic portfolio management, ensuring that major change initiatives deliver measurable, sustainable business value.

You'll serve as the guardian of value delivery across finance programs, working with senior finance leaders, process owners, shared services teams, and IT to validate business cases, track benefits realization, and drive accountability for approved outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end value realization across Finance transformation initiatives by defining benefit governance frameworks and validation protocols
• Establish and maintain the Benefits Realization Framework, ensuring consistency and rigor across the Finance portfolio
• Validate business cases and benefit assumptions prior to investment approval, challenging logic and financial modeling where appropriate
• Monitor realization performance against approved targets, tracking both financial and non-financial outcomes
• Drive value recovery actions when benefits are at risk or underperforming, escalating issues and mobilizing corrective plans
• Provide transparent reporting on value delivery to Business Sponsors, Regional CFOs, and senior stakeholders
• Ensure approved benefits are realized and sustained across Finance programs, including ERP implementations, shared services transformations, and operating model redesigns
• Partner with Project Managers and PMO teams to integrate benefits tracking into program governance

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or related discipline (Master's degree preferred)
• 7+ years of experience in Finance Transformation, PMO, Portfolio Management, Continuous Improvement, Business Performance, or Strategy Execution
• Proven experience managing business cases, benefits tracking, financial analysis, and value realization activities
• Background working with large transformation programs, ERP implementations, shared services, or operating model transformations
• Exposure to Oracle, SAP, Digital Transformation, Automation, AI, or Process Excellence initiatives highly desirable
• PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Management Accounting, Finance certification, or Benefits Realization/Portfolio Management certification preferred
• Willingness to undertake some international travel
• Strong English language skills required for this role
