SEASONAL – Facebook Coordinator

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential professional sports organization seeking a Facebook Coordinator for a seasonal engagement. This remote position runs approximately December 2026 through March 2027 and focuses on platform-specific content strategy, monetization, and live event coverage.

This role is ideal for a social media professional who understands Facebook's unique algorithm, monetization mechanics, and audience behavior—and can execute fast-turnaround content during live events.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a Facebook-specific content calendar optimized for the platform's formats, captioning standards, and posting cadence
• Repackage cross-platform content to maximize reach and engagement specifically on Facebook
• Own Facebook monetization strategy including Stars, subscriptions, and emerging revenue tools while staying current on eligibility requirements and platform updates
• Track performance metrics (reach, watch time, engagement, revenue) and refine strategy based on data insights in partnership with content and social teams
• Cover live events remotely via broadcast feeds, producing fast-turnaround highlights and key moments tailored for Facebook's audience
• Coordinate gameday workflows to ensure consistent coverage across every scheduled event
• Monitor page-over-page growth and identify new revenue opportunities

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years managing a Facebook page for a brand, media company, sports organization, or publisher with direct hands-on experience in Facebook monetization tools
• Strong understanding of Facebook's algorithm, content formats, and audience behavior—recognizing how Facebook differs from Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
• Proven ability to produce highlight content and capture real-time moments quickly, ideally in live sports or live events contexts
• Comfort working independently and remotely, including coverage during evenings and weekends as the event schedule requires
• Data-driven approach with experience pulling and interpreting Facebook Insights and analytics to guide content decisions
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage both ongoing content calendars and high-pressure gameday workflows simultaneously
• Passion for women's sports and basketball culture strongly preferred
