About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential observability technology organization in their search for a Staff AI Engineer to join an innovative skunkworks team. This is a remote position based in Germany, working on cutting-edge AI-driven features that help users make sense of enterprise data through intelligent automation and agentic workflows.

Our client is expanding their platform capabilities beyond traditional use cases into general data analytics, making their tools the premier destination where both humans and AI agents can understand and act on data across the enterprise. You'll be joining a high-autonomy team that operates with significant independence, building AI-powered solutions for product analytics, sales data, and information retrieval at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and ship AI-powered features that manage large datasets and expand analytics-focused AI agent capabilities
• Take full ownership of developing high-performance AI solutions to help users discover, organize, and optimize access to enterprise data
• Implement rapid prototyping and iteration cycles, testing and validating with real users while evolving LLM-powered workflows
• Build agentic components that integrate with internal tools including communication platforms and alerting systems
• Collaborate with data teams for internal testing and validation of new features
• Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance both product functionality and development workflows
• Make UI design decisions and tackle complex engineering problems with minimal supervision
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with real user workflows

What We're Looking For

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong production-grade software engineering background with proven track record of shipping user-facing systems
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, context engineering, and building GenAI-powered applications
• Demonstrated ability to deliver software that reached production and serves active users
• Experience working in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Familiarity with observability tools for understanding and troubleshooting system behavior
• Self-starter mentality with ability to handle ambiguity and define scope in loosely-defined environments
• Quick iteration mindset balanced with focus on shipping impactful, scalable features
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative attitude
• Solutions-oriented approach with openness to feedback

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience building or working with agent frameworks or multi-agent workflows
• Background as a data analyst or experience with data platforms (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, Snowflake, DataBricks)
• Experience building tools for data engineering

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: €109,000 - €137,000 base compensation. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed during the interview process.
