Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential technology consulting organization seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect for a fully remote position across the United States. This is a direct-hire, full-time W2 opportunity with a well-established firm offering strong career growth potential.

In this role, you will design and govern cloud-native solutions across compute, networking, data, identity, and security domains. You'll partner closely with business stakeholders, security architects, and engineering teams to translate strategic objectives into pragmatic, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures aligned with enterprise standards.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud-native solutions on major cloud platforms with focus on scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness
• Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate strategic objectives into architecture roadmaps
• Govern cloud architecture standards across compute, networking, data, identity, and security domains
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation programs
• Produce formal architecture artifacts and present technical recommendations to senior leadership
• Conduct architecture reviews and influence engineering direction across teams
• Balance time-to-market, cost, security, and long-term maintainability in architectural decisions
• Design solutions using containerization, serverless, and managed data services

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles
• 13+ years of total technology experience
• Deep expertise designing cloud-native solutions on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security primitives
• Proven experience with cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation programs
• Strong knowledge of containerization, serverless, and managed data services
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Track record of leading architecture reviews and influencing engineering teams
• Cloud architecture certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Authorization to work in the United States (U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are encouraged to apply; new H-1B sponsorship is not available)

Preferred:

• Multiple cloud architecture certifications
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
• Exposure to regulated industries with strict cloud compliance requirements
• Experience driving FinOps and cost transparency initiatives

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $140,000–$190,000 annually
