Account Manager – C&I

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential client in the electrical equipment sector. They are seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive sales growth across the El Paso, TX, and Albuquerque, NM trade areas. This remote role offers the opportunity to manage key relationships with electrical contractors and develop new market opportunities in the commercial and industrial space.

Successful candidates will be based in the El Paso or Albuquerque NEMA Trade Area and must be comfortable with regular travel throughout the territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales of low and medium voltage electrical equipment to achieve revenue and profitability targets
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules, payment terms, and general conditions
• Execute marketing activities and clearly articulate value propositions to electrical contractors and end users
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial, industrial, and residential markets
• Oversee administrative sales processes and support collection and project management activities as needed
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, responding quickly to their needs

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university plus 5+ years of sales experience, OR GED with 8+ years of sales experience
• Proven experience quoting and selling commercial, industrial, and residential electrical products to contractors
• Strong knowledge of the electrical industry and related product lines
• Technical application skills including take-off and proposal development
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities with a customer-focused approach
• Willingness to travel throughout the territory as required
• Current work authorization to work in the United States
