Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential software development organization based in Hamburg. In this role, you will work within a product team and take ownership of features across the full stack—from database design through to the user interface.
Your responsibilities include:
- Backend development with Laravel and PHP 8.2+
- Frontend implementation using Vue.js
- Integration of APIs and third-party systems
- Building AI-powered features into production applications, including RAG workflows and assistant functions
- Clarifying requirements directly with product owners and designers rather than waiting for fully specified tickets
What We're Looking For
Our client values developers who understand the difference between a feature that works today and one that remains maintainable twelve months from now. You should have:
- Several years of professional web development experience with Laravel and Vue.js
- Strong command of PHP 8+, JavaScript, TypeScript, Git, code reviews, and deployment processes
- Experience writing automated tests
- Good German language skills for team collaboration and client communication
- A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for driving projects forward with your own ideas
Nice to have:
- Experience working with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or comparable platforms
- Familiarity with AI coding assistants like Claude Code
- Exposure to other software stacks, CMS platforms, or additional frameworks and programming languages
