Full Stack Javascript & Database Developer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology consultancy seeking a Full Stack JavaScript & Database Developer to join their growing team in India. Our client delivers innovative software solutions for diverse organizations and needs a versatile developer who can work across the entire stack—from responsive front-end interfaces to robust database architectures.

This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful projects while developing your technical skills in a collaborative, Agile environment. You'll contribute to end-to-end software solutions and work alongside cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as Next.js, React.js, or Angular
• Design responsive, user-friendly interfaces with CSS frameworks like Tailwind and Bootstrap
• Create and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs for front-end and back-end communication
• Write clear API documentation including usage guides and code examples, with basic understanding of OpenAPI specifications
• Implement API authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, API keys) to ensure security and privacy
• Work with the Node.js ecosystem and integrate popular third-party libraries
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging, writing unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability
• Identify and resolve software defects, code smells, and performance bottlenecks
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to team members
• Stay current with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or Software Engineer
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React.js or Angular
• Strong understanding of server-side languages and Node.js architecture
• Required experience with both SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
• Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development workflows
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate in team environments
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools
• Experience or knowledge in backend technologies is considered an advantage
