Full Stack Engineer

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech organization that is expanding its engineering capabilities in Germany. We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join a product-focused team building modern financial technology solutions.

This is a remote position available to candidates currently based in Germany. You'll work with a global, multinational team building customer-facing products and internal systems that span the entire technology stack.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship complete product features across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases
• Develop customer-facing workflows and internal tools for onboarding, payments, automation, and operational systems
• Transform ambiguous product requirements into functional systems with strong user experience and reliable backend infrastructure
• Collaborate closely with product, design, mobile, backend, and engineering teams to deliver rapidly and iterate post-launch
• Create internal automation tools that reduce manual processes and enable teams to scale efficiently
• Own your work beyond initial release through monitoring, debugging, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

• Proven full stack engineering experience with shipped production products
• Strong capability across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and production environments
• Frontend proficiency using React, Next.js, Vue, or similar modern frameworks
• Solid backend fundamentals including API design, data modeling, authentication, integrations, and system reliability
• Product-minded approach with ability to simplify complex workflows
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and owning end-to-end outcomes
• Strong English communication skills for collaboration with global teams
• Must be currently based in Germany

This role is not suitable for: Engineers seeking narrow specialization, those requiring complete specifications before beginning work, developers who don't consider operational impact, or candidates avoiding production support responsibilities.
