UI Designer – AI Neobank App

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a UI Designer to craft intuitive, elegant interfaces for their AI-powered financial products. This is a remote role based in Hong Kong.

Our client is building next-generation mobile-first financial applications, and they need a designer who obsesses over visual quality, interaction details, and usability. You'll work closely with product managers and engineers to design experiences that make complex financial products feel simple, trustworthy, and enjoyable to use.

Responsibilities

• Design polished, user-centric interfaces for mobile and web products
• Transform product requirements into wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI
• Build intuitive experiences across insurance, payments, claims, investments, and other financial services
• Maintain and evolve the design system to ensure consistency across products
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to deliver pixel-perfect implementation
• Iterate designs using user feedback, analytics, and usability testing
• Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and visual consistency across different devices and platforms
• Contribute to improving overall product usability, interaction patterns, and visual language

What We're Looking For

• 2–5 years of experience designing digital products, with a strong focus on mobile applications
• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design, interaction design, and UI craftsmanship (portfolio required—applications without one will not be considered)
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, prototyping, and modern design workflows including design systems, interactive prototyping, Auto Layout & Components, and design tokens
• Strong understanding of mobile-first design principles, platform guidelines (iOS & Android), and responsive layouts
• Good understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and user-centered design
• Ability to simplify complex user journeys into intuitive interfaces
• High attention to detail with strong visual hierarchy, typography, and spacing
• Ability to think in complete user journeys, not just beautiful screens
• Strong focus on clarity, consistency, and usability that reduces friction and builds user trust
• Ability to work closely with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately
• Capacity to move quickly while maintaining high standards of visual quality
• Strong English communication skills required
• Must be currently based in Hong Kong
