Product Manager, Core Experience

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-scaling SaaS platform in the property technology sector. Our client has become a category leader in their vertical across the UK and is expanding throughout Europe. They've built an all-in-one operating system that operators depend on daily—handling bookings, payments, facility operations, and automation in a single platform.

This role sits at the heart of the product: the core experience that operators use every day and the customer-facing storefront where end users complete transactions. You'll be designing for a true B2B2C environment, balancing the needs of business operators with the experience of their customers. This is central, high-impact product work with real ownership from day one.

Responsibilities

• Own a core problem space end-to-end, from customer insight through to shipped product
• Manage both sides of the platform: operator back-office workflows and end-customer booking experiences
• Collaborate directly with engineering leads in a close, integrated way—no handoff culture
• Make critical scope decisions: determine what ships now, what gets cut, and what's non-negotiable
• Work flexibly with or without dedicated design support depending on the problem at hand
• Stay close to customers and operators, bringing real-world understanding into every product decision
• Shape how the team works—the process evolves, and you'll have scope to improve it
• Own key surface areas including: core workflows (customers, units, tenancies, access), permissions and account structure, operational reporting, internal data layer and metrics, growth surfaces like storefront and checkout flow

What We're Looking For

• Roughly 2+ years of hands-on product experience at a SaaS company, with evidence of owning features or problem spaces end-to-end
• Builder mentality—you make things: side projects, tools, past startups, anything that shows you ship
• Background in design, engineering, or self-started ventures; designers and founders tend to thrive in this environment
• Exceptional product taste—you recognize the difference between solutions that work and those that merely ship
• Self-directed—you define the work yourself and don't need exhaustive briefs to make progress
• Strong design sense, capable of contributing to or challenging UX decisions on a surface that's design-heavy
• AI-native approach to work—you already use AI tools as a natural part of how you think and build
• Comfortable with ambiguity and quick to push into problems rather than wait for clarity
• Track record of shipping products that people actually use

This role is not suitable if you: need detailed specifications before starting, have only worked within established processes without shipping independently, consider product work complete before launch, or withdraw when facing ambiguous problems.
