About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech platform in their search for an Investor Relations Associate. Our client connects founders with capital allocators and manages those relationships through to closure. They operate a live, profitable platform built by a lean senior team.

This is a remote role based in the United Kingdom, requiring several hours of overlap with US Eastern time zone. The position reports to the senior investor team and offers direct exposure to live mandates from day one.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain your own book of family office and high-net-worth individual relationships, with a focus on allocators who back US startups
• Support live fundraising mandates by qualifying investors, preparing briefing materials, and managing follow-up communications
• Maintain warm relationships with allocators between active deals, ensuring continuity and trust
• Conduct outreach to identify and secure first conversations with new family offices and HNWIs on a monthly cadence
• Prepare investor qualification notes and briefing documents to house standards
• Shadow senior team members on investor calls and learn mandate management craft through direct observation
• Utilize AI tooling to manage pipeline administration and meeting preparation efficiently

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience building an allocator network through roles in wealth management, private banking, family office operations, capital placement, or independent business development
• A clear, articulated methodology for identifying qualified investors, earning initial conversations, and maintaining valuable ongoing relationships
• Knowledge of how family offices and HNWIs structure direct allocations, ideally with exposure to US startup investments
• A listening-first approach to relationship building—you prioritize allocator needs over transaction pressure
• Impeccable discretion regarding investor names, allocation details, and confidential conversations
• Comfort working in an AI-augmented environment where tooling handles administrative workflow
• Availability for several hours of daily overlap with US Eastern time zone, with concentrated meeting days and protected deep work time
• Strong written communication skills for preparing investor briefs and correspondence
