About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential venture studio focused on healthtech innovation. This organization partners with entrepreneurs to build and scale early-stage companies addressing critical challenges in healthcare delivery—from capacity constraints and chronic disease management to aging populations and care model transformation.

We're seeking a Venture Builder to join their London studio on an initial 6-month contract with potential for extension or permanent employment. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who thrives at the zero-to-one stage, working directly with founders to validate ideas, build MVPs, and find product-market fit.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end early build process from problem definition and MVP scoping through to shipping, testing, and iteration
• Get products into users' hands quickly using lean, experimental approaches to validate assumptions and generate learning
• Shape customer experience and product vision, balancing user needs with commercial and technical realities
• Work closely with founders to challenge thinking, sharpen focus, and drive momentum through uncertainty
• Support ventures through studio stage gates, helping founders build evidence-backed investment cases
• Identify opportunities by staying close to market dynamics, emerging technology, and real user behavior
• Communicate progress, learnings, trade-offs, and recommendations clearly to founders and the wider studio team

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated zero-to-one experience in digital health or medical technology—whether at a startup, through side projects, research, or volunteering
• Experience applying AI or developing innovative health/medical devices is highly advantageous
• Strong technical mindset with ability to build no-code/low-code solutions, prototypes, or proofs of concept
• Comfort wearing multiple hats across product, design, technology, and growth functions
• Commercial curiosity with ability to think through ideal customer profiles, value propositions, pricing hypotheses, and early go-to-market alongside product development
• Lean methodology mindset—prioritizing speed, learning, and focus over perfection
• Excellent communication skills and comfort setting expectations with founders while maintaining strong, honest working relationships
• Someone who thrives in ambiguity, balances creativity with objective data, and is comfortable taking calculated risks
• Strong leadership that drives outcomes in a fast-moving environment

Please note: This is not a pure design or engineering role, not a consulting position writing decks from the sidelines, and not a 9-to-5 role. This is about building, deciding, testing, and moving quickly in a venture studio environment where momentum matters.
