Founding Account Executive, New Business

About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a fast-scaling SaaS organization in their search for a Founding Account Executive, New Business. This is a remote role based in the United States.

Our client launched recently and achieved remarkable product-market fit, growing from early traction to significant ARR with minimal traditional go-to-market spend. They've secured Series B funding from top-tier investors and are now building out their first dedicated sales team.

This role owns the largest untapped revenue surface in the company: converting product users into paying enterprise customers. You'll be the first sales hire focused on turning individual users into company-wide deployments, building the playbook from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from first contact through close—no handoffs, full accountability
• Identify expansion opportunities where individual users represent entry points into larger organizations
• Conduct discovery, deliver demos, structure pricing, and negotiate deals with stakeholders at all levels
• Build the foundational sales playbook: messaging, sequences, objection handling, and qualification criteria
• Document what works so future hires can scale the motion you prove out
• Move quickly and make decisions in real time with prospects
• Leverage the company's own product to automate research, CRM updates, and follow-up

What We're Looking For

• 30+ closed deals in the last 12 months that you personally owned end-to-end
• Quota attainment in at least two of your last three measured periods
• 3+ years of sales experience—we care about what you've accomplished, not pedigree
• Proven ability to work without a playbook or to create one from scratch in an early-stage environment
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels
• Comfort with high autonomy, fast decision-making, and direct feedback
• Self-directed work style with a focus on customer-facing time as the primary leverage point

Compensation

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $90,000–$100,000 base salary with $180,000–$200,000 OTE (50/50 split). Uncapped commission with accelerators above 100% attainment. Equity and bonus offerings included.

This is a remote position based in the United States. Occasional travel may be required for enterprise customer meetings.
