About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential European hardware manufacturer specializing in industrial and embedded systems. We're seeking a Firmware Validation Engineer to join their Berlin-based engineering team. In this role, you'll ensure product reliability and performance through comprehensive testing and validation of embedded memory solutions.
This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge embedded systems technology, collaborate with international development teams, and contribute to products that power critical industrial and IoT applications worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Support product development from requirements gathering through market launch
- Design, implement, and execute quality assurance and firmware validation test procedures
- Analyze protocols, interfaces, and test results using modern measurement and analysis tools
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and international partners on firmware development and validation activities
- Identify technical challenges and develop sustainable solutions in partnership with cross-functional teams
- Optimize testing processes and contribute to the advancement of test automation or web-based tooling based on your interests
What We're Looking For
- University degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field
- Initial experience in embedded systems development or validation, or strong interest as an early-career professional entering this field
- Ideally, knowledge of software development or test automation using C/C++
- Fluent communication skills in both German and English
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for working in international, interdisciplinary environments
- Must be authorized to work in Germany; our client cannot provide visa sponsorship for this position
