Event Marketing Manager (m/w/d) – Germany

Responsibilities

We are representing a fast-growing fintech organization expanding into the German market. As their first Event Marketing Manager based in Germany, you will be responsible for establishing and executing the event strategy across the region.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Planning and executing the organization's presence at partner events and industry conferences throughout Germany
• Managing all event logistics from start to finish, including vendor selection, booth setup, on-site coordination, and teardown
• Designing and implementing proprietary event formats that support sales objectives and align with brand values
• Monitoring market trends and identifying relevant event opportunities to build a strategic event calendar
• Coordinating internal teams across departments to ensure seamless event execution
• Managing procurement and production of branded materials, merchandise, and print collateral
• Ensuring brand consistency across all event touchpoints and communications
• Maintaining event budgets with transparent tracking and reporting
• Keeping the event calendar current and anticipating resource requirements in advance
• Providing regular reporting on event outcomes and key learnings

You will work closely with senior leadership to understand market vision and translate strategic goals into concrete, impactful on-the-ground initiatives. This role requires close collaboration with local marketing teams to ensure event activities align with broader marketing strategies while meeting the specific expectations of the German market.

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• 3-5 years of event management experience, ideally in a tech, SaaS, or B2B environment
• Proven track record managing complex projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience in budget management and vendor coordination

Essential Skills:

• Fluent German is mandatory
• Very strong professional English skills
• French language skills are a plus
• Strategic thinking combined with strong operational execution capabilities
• Detail-oriented and highly organized approach to work
• Ability to manage multiple parallel projects effectively

• Willingness to travel regularly within Germany and occasionally across Europe
• Hands-on approach—comfortable being in the middle of the action from initial concept through event teardown
• Comfortable working both remotely and from an office environment

This is a remote position based in Germany, with the option to work from the Berlin office. Regular travel within Germany and occasional European travel is required.
