About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential technology consulting organization seeking an Enterprise Cloud Architect for a fully remote position across the United States. This role offers the chance to design and govern cloud-native solutions at enterprise scale, working across compute, networking, data, identity, and security domains.

Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)
Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2
Experience Required: 8+ years in software engineering or solution architecture

Responsibilities

As Enterprise Cloud Architect, you will partner closely with business stakeholders, security architects, and engineering teams to translate strategic objectives into scalable, cost-effective cloud architectures. Your work will balance time-to-market, security, and long-term maintainability while adhering to enterprise standards.

• Design and govern cloud-native solutions across major cloud platforms
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation programs
• Produce formal architecture artifacts and present them to senior leadership
• Conduct architecture reviews and influence engineering direction across teams
• Ensure alignment between cloud solutions and enterprise architectural standards
• Evaluate containerization, serverless, and managed data services for appropriate use cases

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Eight or more years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles
• Deep expertise designing cloud-native solutions on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security primitives
• Hands-on experience with cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation programs
• Working knowledge of containerization, serverless architectures, and managed data services
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to produce architecture documentation and present to executive audiences
• Cloud architecture certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Preferred:

• Multiple cloud architecture certifications across platforms
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
• Background in regulated industries with strict cloud compliance requirements
• Experience driving FinOps and cost transparency initiatives

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $140,000–$170,000 annually
