Senior Solutions Specialist – Connected Devices

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology client in their search for a Senior Solutions Specialist to support their Connected Devices portfolio across the UKI and EMEA regions. This Manchester-based role sits at the intersection of sales, product, and customer success, supporting IoT, asset management, and lone worker safety solutions.

You'll partner with account executives and solution engineers to drive pre-sales discovery, solution design, deployment, and onboarding for customers implementing connected device technologies across multi-site operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert on IoT sensors, asset management platforms, and lone worker solutions for both internal teams and customers
• Engage directly with prospective and existing customers to understand operational challenges and demonstrate how connected device solutions address their needs
• Support account executives and customer success managers in discovery conversations, solution scoping, and tailored product demonstrations
• Lead customers through deployment and configuration across complex, multi-site environments involving connected hardware
• Deliver training sessions for internal teams on product features and enhancements across the IoT and asset management portfolio
• Participate in outbound prospecting and lead qualification, identifying opportunities across key industry verticals
• Build and maintain relationships with service partners to scale complex product deployments
• Bridge sales and customer success teams, supporting ongoing adoption, renewals, and expansion initiatives

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Proven experience in a customer-facing role within a technology or SaaS environment
• Track record managing or supporting complex solutions involving hardware, multi-site rollouts, or integrated solutions
• Familiarity with IoT, asset tracking, lone worker technology, or similar connected device services
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, equally comfortable with technical teams and operational leaders
• Excellent project management abilities with capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Proactive, resilient, consultative approach to customer engagement
• Focus on customer outcomes and ROI with passion for solving real-world operational problems
• Enthusiasm for building a career in tech sales within a fast-paced environment

Helpful experience:

• Background in customer success, account management, or sales roles
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics, construction, facilities management, or utilities sectors
• Exposure to lone worker safety solutions, telematics, sensors, or IoT devices
• Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce), productivity tools (Google Workspace), mobile devices (iOS/Android), IP dialers, and sales engagement platforms
