About the Role
Hudl is seeking an Engineering Manager to join our Global Football and Rugby (GFR) division. You will oversee two squads building the data infrastructure layer that feeds into customer-facing products like Statsbomb. This role involves leading a team of engineers, setting technical direction, and ensuring the development of robust, scalable systems.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
- Define and implement technical strategies that align with business goals and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and data science, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of products.
- Ensure the development of scalable, maintainable, and secure codebases.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
