Electrical Superintendent – Kiewit Power Constructors

Join Kiewit Power Constructors as an Electrical Superintendent and lead industrial electrical construction projects in Conway Springs, Sumner County. This is a full-time, on-site field supervision role where you'll oversee complex electrical installations and guide your team to deliver quality results on time.

About the Role

As Electrical Superintendent with Kiewit Power Constructors, you'll manage field electrical construction activities for industrial power projects. You'll be responsible for coordinating labor, materials, and schedules while maintaining safety standards and quality control on installations ranging from underground distribution systems to above-ground electrical infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Supervise electrical installation crews performing underground duct bank work, above-ground conduit installation, cable tray assembly, and cable pulling operations
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure proper sequencing and integration of electrical work
• Monitor daily operations for compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and project specifications
• Manage material logistics, crew assignments, and work schedules to meet project milestones
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings to maintain a culture of continuous improvement
• Troubleshoot field challenges and work with engineering teams to implement solutions
• Track labor hours, document progress, and maintain accurate project records

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an Electrical Superintendent or senior electrician in industrial or power construction
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems installation methods, materials, and codes
• Demonstrated leadership ability and crew management experience
• Familiarity with underground duct banks, conduit systems, cable trays, and related electrical infrastructure
• Ability to read electrical plans, interpret specifications, and communicate technical requirements
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed
• OSHA certification or equivalent safety training (preferred)
