Strategic Account Manager

RELX INC is hiring a Strategic Account Manager to build and grow long-term client partnerships in Providence, Providence County. In this full-time role, you'll drive revenue expansion and customer success by aligning technology solutions with the complex needs of corporate legal departments across the region.

Position Summary

As a Strategic Account Manager at RELX INC, you are the primary relationship leader for a portfolio of enterprise clients. You'll combine deep product knowledge with business acumen to identify expansion opportunities, solve client challenges, and ensure measurable value delivery. Your focus is on understanding client objectives, translating business requirements into actionable strategies, and driving adoption of integrated legal solutions that help organizations achieve operational excellence.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage and nurture executive-level relationships with corporate legal department stakeholders to understand their strategic priorities and pain points
• Develop and execute account plans that maximize client retention, growth, and product utilization across your portfolio
• Identify expansion opportunities and present data-driven business cases that demonstrate ROI and operational improvements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, solution engineering, and implementation teams to ensure successful client outcomes
• Track account metrics, forecast revenue opportunity, and provide regular business reviews to clients and internal leadership
• Serve as a trusted advisor, offering strategic guidance on market trends, competitive positioning, and best practices in legal operations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise account management, sales, or business development experience
• Demonstrated success building relationships with C-suite executives and driving complex, multi-stakeholder deals
• Strong understanding of legal operations, legal technology, or professional services software preferred
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to analyze business metrics, forecast accurately, and manage multiple accounts simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
