About the Role

As a Scheduler with Kiewit Nuclear Solutions in Oak Ridge, you will be a central contributor within the Project Controls department, driving the planning and scheduling functions across a range of nuclear and DOE projects. This is a mid-level, hands-on position where your scheduling decisions translate directly into measurable results on the ground. Based on-site in Anderson County, Tennessee, you will help shape the execution timeline of complex, mission-critical work.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules for nuclear and DOE programs.
• Coordinate planning activities to keep project milestones on track and aligned with field execution.
• Partner with project controls, engineering, and field teams to capture accurate progress and forecast outcomes.
• Analyze schedule performance and recommend adjustments that improve delivery.
• Support reporting that keeps stakeholders informed on timeline status and risks.

Qualifications

• Mid-level experience in scheduling or project controls, ideally within nuclear, energy, or heavy construction environments.
• Strong working knowledge of scheduling software and planning methodologies.
• Detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage interdependent activities across active projects.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working alongside cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work on-site in Oak Ridge, Anderson County (this position is not remote).
