About the Role

As a Proposal Manager on Kiewit's Energy proposal team, you will spearhead the end-to-end development of intricate proposals, qualifications packages, and related pursuit deliverables. Based on-site in Quivira, Johnson County, this full-time position sits within the KEG Business Development group and supports growth across the power market. You will translate strategy into compelling, client-focused submissions that help capture meaningful work.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and production of complex, tailored proposals and qualifications packages from kickoff through final delivery.
• Partner with business development leaders, technical experts, and operations teams to craft persuasive, client-focused content.
• Manage proposal schedules, assignments, and deadlines to ensure on-time, polished submissions.
• Develop reusable pursuit materials and maintain quality across all deliverables.
• Align messaging with win strategy and the priorities of energy-sector clients.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience managing proposals or pursuit deliverables, ideally within the energy, power, or heavy construction sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, deadline-driven submissions with multiple contributors.
• Strong writing, editing, and content-organization skills geared toward client-focused messaging.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work on-site in Quivira, Johnson County (this is not a remote role).
