EHS Analyst

The Opportunity

Viavisolutions is seeking a dedicated EHS Analyst to join our team in Paeonian Springs, VA USA. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive Environment, Health & Safety programs that protect our workforce and ensure regulatory compliance. You'll work with cross-functional teams to identify risks, eliminate hazards, and build a safety-first culture throughout the organization.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and hazard assessments to identify potential safety risks and environmental concerns
• Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, documenting findings and developing corrective action plans
• Develop, update, and communicate EHS policies, procedures, and work instructions to all employees
• Monitor organizational compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental laws, and industry-specific safety standards
• Maintain detailed EHS records, incident logs, and compliance documentation
• Coordinate and deliver safety training programs to employees at all levels
• Collaborate with management on emergency response planning and preparedness
• Track safety metrics, analyze trends, and report findings to leadership

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field, or equivalent professional EHS experience
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance requirements
• Proven experience conducting safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging employees at all organizational levels
• Proficiency in MS Office and data management systems
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• OSHA certifications or similar EHS credentials preferred
