Director, Talent Analytics

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Director of Talent Analytics to lead a team focused on data-driven hiring and selection science. This is a remote role open to candidates across EMEA.

Our client takes a rigorous, evidence-based approach to talent acquisition, using analytics and behavioral science to identify exceptional candidates. This role reports to senior leadership and will drive strategic outcomes while coaching a team of analysts.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team delivering against strategic objectives in talent analytics, focusing on product design and roadmap implementation
• Connect performance outcomes to selection methods, ensuring the organization identifies and advances top talent
• Design professional frameworks and processes to support efficient execution of the team's agenda
• Coach and mentor team members to develop analytical capabilities and thought leadership, creating training materials and documentation
• Serve as a trusted adviser to company leaders, representing the team and communicating the vision for talent at the organization
• Act as senior backup leadership in the absence of the department head

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Exceptional academic track record with an undergraduate degree in a people-focused discipline
• 7+ years of experience in a Talent function with deep knowledge of recruitment, selection, and analytics
• Proven analytical ability using SQL, or alternatively Python, R, SPSS, or advanced Excel/spreadsheet functions with willingness to learn SQL
• Exposure to business intelligence tools
• Exemplary leadership skills with demonstrated ability to drive others to deliver results
• Exceptional project management and coaching capabilities
• Outstanding written and spoken English with strong presentation skills for senior audiences
• Alignment with a mission-driven organization
• Ability to travel internationally 2-4 times per year for company events (up to two weeks)

Preferred:

• Advanced psychometric skills
• Deep understanding of human behavior and intrinsic motivation
• Experience with specific BI and recruiting platforms
