In this full-time remote role, you'll directly support a portfolio of next-generation venture capital firms through every stage of deal evaluation and deployment.

About This Position

As Deals Associate, you'll be the operational foundation supporting emerging venture capital managers as they build their investing practices. Working with fund managers throughout the investment lifecycle, you'll help them source compelling opportunities, evaluate potential investments, conduct thorough diligence, and maintain meaningful portfolio engagement. Your goal is to empower managers with the guidance, best practices, and network access they need to make confident investment decisions and deploy capital strategically.

Core Duties

• Review, analyze, and strengthen investment memos and deal documentation to help fund managers present opportunities with clarity and rigor
• Guide emerging managers through venture due diligence processes and share battle-tested investment practices across our network
• Identify and surface compelling investment opportunities aligned with each fund's thesis and strategic focus areas
• Cultivate and maintain relationships within the startup and investor communities to generate consistent, high-quality deal flow
• Facilitate connections between exceptional companies and our partner capital, supporting platform-wide opportunity sharing initiatives

What You Bring

• Solid grounding in venture capital principles, from sourcing and evaluation through monitoring and exit
• Ability to assess business opportunities, identify investment potential, and spot red flags in deal analysis
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with fund managers, founders, and investors
• Comfort building professional networks and maintaining relationships within startup and investment communities
• Self-directed work ethic and ability to manage multiple fund managers, projects, and initiatives simultaneously
• Enthusiasm for making venture capital more inclusive and supporting managers as they scale
