Senior Housekeeper – Piece Rate (Full Time)

Roofstock is hiring a Senior Housekeeper for our growing Short-Term Rental business in Lincoln City, Oregon. This full-time, on-site position offers an opportunity to lead housekeeping quality, mentor team members, and ensure every vacation rental property delivers exceptional guest experiences.

Role Overview

As a Senior Housekeeper with Roofstock's STR operations, you'll serve as both an active cleaner and a quality supervisor in our Lincoln City properties. Your role bridges hands-on housekeeping with team leadership—you'll perform property turnovers to our brand standards while overseeing the work of other housekeeping staff, identifying improvement areas, and coaching team members toward excellence. You'll work independently across multiple properties, take initiative on operational challenges, and report directly to our Back of House Team Lead.

Responsibilities

• Execute complete property turnovers and guest refreshes according to operational standards
• Audit and verify housekeeping quality across the property portfolio
• Train and mentor junior housekeeping team members in cleaning techniques and brand standards
• Address urgent operational needs and guest-related concerns in the field
• Perform touch-up cleanings and spot maintenance as required
• Verify all properties meet cleanliness, functionality, and supply standards before guest arrival
• Maintain consumable inventory and arrange guest-facing linens and amenities
• Log property damage, repair requests, and supply shortages in operational systems
• Provide leadership with actionable feedback on team performance and operational trends
• Cover management responsibilities when needed
• Support additional tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of housekeeping, vacation rental, or hospitality work experience
• Demonstrated excellence in cleaning quality and attention to detail
• Ability to motivate and support colleagues; positive, team-oriented attitude
• Working knowledge of turnover procedures and operational workflows
• Physical stamina for extended cleaning work: lifting 25+ pounds, kneeling, and standing for prolonged periods
• Valid driver's license and reliable local transportation
• Smartphone access and proficiency with mobile task-management applications
• Availability for weekend, holiday, and occasional evening shifts

We offer competitive compensation including piece-rate pay ranging from $35 to $300 per unit, plus $24.50 per hour for non-cleaning tasks.
