About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential research computing organization in the Munich metro area that is building customer success capabilities for a major European AI infrastructure initiative. Our talent team is seeking a Customer Success Expert to join their growing team in Garching bei München.

This role offers the opportunity to shape customer engagement strategies from the ground up, working with cutting-edge AI infrastructure serving research institutions, SMEs, and enterprise clients across Europe. You'll be instrumental in building lasting client relationships and optimizing how customers derive value from advanced computing services.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across new and existing client accounts
• Guide customers through onboarding and beyond, working closely with support teams to ensure clients achieve desired outcomes
• Document user journeys and utilize CRM platforms to track customer interactions and pipeline progress
• Organize and contribute to conferences, workshops, and hackathons for customer engagement and outreach
• Conduct regular business reviews to assess customer health and satisfaction, identifying expansion opportunities
• Collaborate across teams to convey customer needs and develop targeted engagement campaigns
• Manage the full end-to-end customer lifecycle from prospecting through closing and ongoing support
• Support technical discussions and presentations with customers
• Co-develop business development strategies to maximize customer lifetime value

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) or similar degree in management, marketing, or communications with 2+ years of work experience; OR Bachelor's degree in these disciplines with 4+ years of relevant experience
• Proven knowledge and experience with CRM platforms for managing customer data and sales pipelines
• Excellent English and German communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and international customers
• Willingness to stay current with AI technology developments
• Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with start-ups and/or SMEs
• Proven experience in business development, B2B sales, and account management
• Expertise in marketing strategies for customer engagement and retention
• Knowledge of technology sales processes and solutions
• Analytical skills to interpret data for strategic decision-making
• Demonstrated experience driving revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and renewals
• Experience with warm calling techniques and customer onboarding processes

Position Details:

• Full-time (40 hours/week), part-time possible
• Flexible working model with up to 60% remote work for suitable tasks
• Contract through Q1 2028 with intention for continued employment
• 30 days annual leave plus additional days off
• Located in Garching bei München with excellent public transport access
