Customer Service – Self Storage Manager

Public Storage seeks a full-time Customer Service - Self Storage Manager in Albuquerque, NM to lead daily facility operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and help drive business growth.

The Opportunity

Are you a natural leader with a passion for customer service? Public Storage is looking for an experienced self storage facility manager to oversee operations at our Albuquerque location. In this full-time role, you'll manage the day-to-day running of our facility, lead a team, maximize occupancy, and ensure every customer has a positive experience from move-in through renewal. You'll balance operational excellence with the interpersonal skills that make customers want to return and recommend us to others.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily facility operations, including maintenance, cleanliness, and security protocols
• Drive occupancy and revenue through customer acquisition, retention, and unit promotion
• Handle customer inquiries, lease agreements, move-ins, move-outs, and billing issues
• Lead, train, and supervise facility staff to maintain high performance and service standards
• Monitor unit availability, pricing strategy, and inventory of supplies and equipment
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and safety standards
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues and coordinate repairs with vendors
• Maintain accurate records and reports on occupancy, revenue, and operational metrics

• Proven experience in customer service, facility management, or retail management

• Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional management certification is a plus
