About the Role

As a Pediatric CRNA at Detroit Medical Center Central Campus, you will administer anesthesia to infants, children, and adolescents undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures. You'll work alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative teams in a setting equipped with advanced technology designed to optimize patient safety and outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Assess pediatric patients pre-operatively and develop anesthetic plans tailored to age and medical complexity
• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care using current evidence-based protocols
• Monitor physiological parameters and vital signs throughout surgical procedures
• Manage airway and respiratory support for pediatric patients
• Provide post-operative anesthesia care and pain management
• Document anesthetic care and maintain accurate medical records
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth perioperative workflows

What We're Looking For

• Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with valid state license
• Strong clinical background in pediatric anesthesia or demonstrated commitment to developing pediatric expertise
• Proficiency with anesthetic equipment, monitoring systems, and electronic health records
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
