Consolidation Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI technology organization in their search for a Consolidation Manager based in Paris. Our client is scaling rapidly across multiple continents and needs an experienced finance professional to build their consolidation function from the ground up.

This is a rare opportunity to design and implement a complete IFRS consolidation framework for a dynamic, fast-growing group. You will own the entire transition, working with approximately 30 entities across 15 countries in a multi-currency environment. The role reports to senior finance leadership and delivers consolidated figures critical to stakeholders and investors.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate a recurring monthly IFRS consolidation process across ~30 entities in ~15 countries
• Lead the selection, configuration, and implementation of the group's consolidation software, including vendor evaluation and system design decisions
• Establish and maintain consolidation rules, methods, and documentation to ensure auditability and scalability
• Manage multi-currency consolidation and foreign exchange differences across the entity perimeter
• Adapt consolidation rules as the business evolves: new entities, revenue streams, acquisitions, and IFRS standard updates (including IFRS 18)
• Navigate complex and evolving group structures spanning multiple jurisdictions
• Collaborate with IFRS specialists and the broader finance team to deliver reliable quarterly consolidated figures
• Investigate and reconcile consolidation differences with precision and attention to detail

What We're Looking For

• Strong IFRS consolidation expertise, including business combinations, goodwill accounting, intercompany eliminations, and multi-currency translation
• Professional background combining Big Four or international audit firm experience with in-house consolidation roles
• Seniority and confidence to own the consolidation function end-to-end without extensive supervision
• Proven ability to build a consolidation framework from scratch rather than inherit existing processes
• Technical depth to evaluate consolidation methods and tools, articulating trade-offs clearly to leadership
• Hands-on mindset with meticulous attention to detail and willingness to investigate variances
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and managing evolving scope (new entities, changing standards, acquisitions)
• Fluent English required; French is advantageous
