AI Deployment Strategist, Critical and Sovereign Institutions – Paris

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential AI technology organization seeking an AI Deployment Strategist to work with critical and sovereign institutions in Paris. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, AI innovation, and hands-on deployment in highly regulated environments including defense, public sector, and critical infrastructure.

You will drive the adoption and deployment of advanced AI solutions inside strategic institutions, working closely with customers from vision to production implementation under strict operational, security, and compliance constraints. Your work will have significant societal and strategic impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead executive-level workshops to identify challenges and opportunities where AI can drive transformative improvements in strategic environments
• Co-create AI adoption roadmaps with customers, articulating clear paths to value within their regulatory and security perimeters
• Collaborate with account teams to develop business cases, quantify impact, and align solutions with mission objectives
• Architect end-to-end AI solutions integrating models and platforms into customer workflows and secure infrastructure (cloud, on-premise, disconnected, air-gapped)
• Partner with applied AI teams to design, prototype, and deploy solutions in production ensuring scalability, security, and impact
• Own execution of pilots and proofs-of-value, demonstrating technology potential and enabling full-scale deployment
• Serve as trusted advisor to customers, guiding AI strategy and ensuring maximum value realization
• Monitor KPIs tied to operational and business outcomes, communicating progress to executive sponsors
• Identify expansion opportunities across use cases and units, building long-term partnerships
• Act as bridge between customers and internal teams, synthesizing feedback to influence product and security roadmaps
• Develop reusable assets, best practices, and playbooks to scale delivery excellence in regulated settings
• Travel approximately 30-60% to foster deep client relationships and support on-site deployment

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years in client-facing strategic and technical roles (data science consulting, value engineering, or technical sales)
• Degree in a relevant scientific field (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering)
• Foundational knowledge of AI/ML/Data Science with credibility to advise both technical and non-technical audiences
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI applications using Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills to structure ambiguous challenges into actionable solutions
• Executive presence and communication skills to influence senior stakeholders (VP, C-level, mission owners)
• Resilient, results-driven, and comfortable leading through influence in collaborative environments
• Comfort operating under security, compliance, and confidentiality constraints
• Experience with sales qualification frameworks (MEDDPICC) and value-based selling is a plus
• Experience deploying AI in regulated or sovereign environments (defense, public sector, critical infrastructure) is a plus

Security & Compliance Requirements:

• Must hold French citizenship
• Must meet all local requirements for high-level security clearance (no criminal record, fulfillment of national service obligations)
