About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential strategy consulting organization seeking a German-speaking freelance consultant for commercial due diligence and investment advisory work. This is a contract engagement based in London with hybrid working arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market and regulatory assessments, analyzing industry trends, policy incentives, and regulatory risks
- Evaluate competitive positioning, including market share analysis and differentiation strategies
- Perform commercial and revenue analysis, reviewing revenue streams, pricing models, customer base, and growth potential
- Complete operational and cost reviews, examining supply chain dependencies, technology readiness, and cost structures
- Identify risk and investment feasibility, including commercial risks, scalability challenges, and alignment with investor objectives
- Deliver insights and recommendations to support investment decision-making processes
What We're Looking For
- Currently active as an independent consultant
- Background in strategy or operations consulting at a tier 1, tier 2, Big 4, or specialist boutique firm, or transactions experience in private equity or investment banking
- Fluent German language skills required
- Experience working in tech-adjacent industries is advantageous
- Analyst to Senior Consultant level of experience
- Comfortable with hybrid working arrangements in London
- Available for project durations of 2-6 weeks
