Talent Acquisition Manager (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential recruiting consultancy in Bielefeld, Nordrhein-Westfalen, seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead client recruitment strategies from consultation through successful placement.

This is not an in-house role executing tasks handed down from above. You will own the entire recruitment lifecycle for multiple client organizations—identifying which companies to pursue, designing their talent acquisition strategy, and executing campaigns that deliver measurable results. You combine consulting, campaign management, and business development in one position.

Responsibilities

• Analyze why a client organization's talent acquisition efforts are underperforming—assessing target audience, positioning, channel selection, and process efficiency
• Develop evidence-based recruitment strategies and present them to decision-makers at prospective and existing clients
• Acquire new clients proactively through telephone outreach, direct engagement, and referrals
• Plan and manage recruitment campaigns across their full lifecycle, adjusting based on performance data
• Review incoming applications, conduct initial screening interviews, and create candidate experiences that differentiate our service
• Maintain ownership of each placement project from strategy through successful hire
• Work systematically within CRM systems, track key performance indicators, and translate data into concrete actions
• Collaborate with internal teams to continuously refine recruitment methodologies

What We're Looking For

• Recruitment expertise: understanding how audience targeting, channel strategy, and process design interconnect—whether gained in agency, staffing, or in-house environments
• Consulting capability: you ask questions that identify core issues, think in solutions, and communicate recommendations clearly to executives
• Business development readiness: client acquisition is part of the role, and you approach it with confidence rather than reluctance
• Data orientation: you interpret campaign metrics, recognize patterns, and make evidence-based adjustments
• Self-direction: you manage your own workload, maintain momentum after setbacks, and measure yourself against results
• German language fluency required for client-facing responsibilities in this market
• Background note: we evaluate capability and drive over credentials—prior recruiting experience is valuable but can be developed through our structured training
