Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Cloud Enterprise Architect to lead their cloud transformation initiatives. This is a fully remote opportunity based in the United States.

In this role, you'll drive cloud adoption across the organization, architect scalable cloud solutions, and establish best practices that optimize infrastructure costs and performance. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to assess applications, select cloud providers, coordinate security protocols, and manage the full lifecycle of cloud architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead organizational transformation toward cloud adoption and establish cultural change management practices
• Develop and coordinate comprehensive cloud architecture strategies across the enterprise
• Assess existing applications, software, and hardware for cloud readiness and migration planning
• Establish and document best practices for cloud implementation company-wide
• Evaluate and select cloud providers while vetting third-party cloud services
• Collaborate with IT security teams to monitor privacy controls and develop incident-response procedures
• Manage cloud budgets and provide cost estimation for projects and ongoing operations
• Configure and monitor cloud attributes including auto-scaling scenarios for applications
• Implement application monitoring using operations and application insights tools
• Provide guidance on provisioning production and non-production environments to optimize resource usage
• Design and build applications using container and serverless technologies
• Implement advanced security, authentication, and single sign-on solutions across cloud and on-premise systems

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 10+ years of application architecture experience
• At least 7 years designing and deploying solutions on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Proven experience with workload migrations to cloud environments
• Strong expertise in cloud platform services with deep understanding of capabilities and limitations
• Practical application development experience on both Linux and Windows-based systems
• Experience architecting highly available systems utilizing load balancing, horizontal scalability, and high availability patterns
• Solid exposure to Agile software development and DevOps practices including Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Integration, and automated deployment
• Experience working directly with customers, partners, or third-party developers in technical specialist or customer-facing roles
• Ability to assess and adopt new technologies while understanding their business applicability
