About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing global HR technology platform that is building its channel partnerships function from the ground up. Our client operates across 150+ countries and serves over 1,000 companies with comprehensive workforce management solutions. Partnerships are projected to become one of their largest sources of new pipeline over the next three years, and they need an experienced Channel Partnerships Manager to build that engine.

This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role based in Spain. You will define which partner types to pursue, recruit and sign them, and ensure the pipeline they generate is measurable and converting. You'll work closely with the Head of Sales, account executives, and senior leadership to establish this critical growth channel.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and sign new channel partners in priority segments, building target lists and running outreach yourself
  • Review existing partner relationships and decide which to invest in, revive, or close
  • Help design the commercial model including referral and reseller terms, fee levels, partner tiers, deal registration, and rules of engagement with direct sales
  • Establish roadmap priorities and quarterly focuses for the channel, reporting monthly with the same rigor as a sales forecast
  • Design and deliver onboarding and enablement for new partners so they can position the solution accurately
  • Nurture existing partner relationships to grow referral volume over time
  • Work with the go-to-market engineer to ensure partner-sourced pipeline is properly traceable in CRM
  • Co-sell with account executives, bringing partners into live opportunities and owning handoffs in both directions
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Operations teams to align channel goals with company objectives
  • Monitor and analyze channel performance, identify gaps, and act on them
  • Serve as the main point of contact for partners, responding to inquiries professionally and promptly
  • Stay current with industry trends and competitor channel programs
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on channel performance for stakeholders

What We're Looking For

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in B2B SaaS or professional services, with at least 2 years in channel, partnerships, alliances, or partner-led business development
  • Current or recent hands-on role with evidence of building rather than just maintaining programs
  • Comfort with outbound partner recruitment and prospecting
  • Understanding of how partner contribution is measured and clear views on how it should be tracked
  • Strong grasp of partner acquisition and engagement strategies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility with senior professionals at advisory and consulting firms
  • Proficient in data analysis and metrics reporting
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a proactive problem-solving approach
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, ideally HubSpot
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Spain
