CDI – CHEF DE PRODUIT HOMME/SLG/CEINTURE (H/F)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential luxury fashion house based in Paris. Our client seeks a Product Manager to lead the development of men's leather goods, small leather goods, and belts. This is a permanent contract (CDI) position within their product development team, reporting to the Head of Leather Goods Development.

You will work autonomously across your product portfolio, collaborating closely with Creative Product, Merchandising, and Production teams. This role requires regular travel to manufacturing sites and combines technical expertise with creative sensibility.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage men's leather goods, small leather goods, belts, and VIP project offerings
• Partner with manufacturers throughout product development based on creative and merchandising briefs, including on-site visits
• Manage the manufacturer network in collaboration with production teams (identifying strengths, weaknesses, and benchmarking)
• Propose technical alternatives to creative and manufacturing teams to anticipate industrialization and costing challenges while respecting creative intent
• Drive prototype and sample development within deadlines, margin targets, and quality standards
• Maintain pricing visibility throughout collection development and negotiate within margin objectives
• Manage product referencing and ensure accuracy of product nomenclature
• Update collection plans and tracking tools
• Support merchandising team with product specification documentation
• Coordinate product shoot planning and product compliance with imaging team
• Participate in fashion show organization (collection tracking, product setup for styling editing and fitting, collection packing)
• Prepare and transmit technical files to industrialization and production teams
• Validate invoices and rigorously track committed costs
• Contribute to continuous process improvement

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (business, fashion, or equivalent) with 3–5 years of experience in leather goods and/or small leather goods product development, ideally within luxury or fashion
• Strong knowledge of the market and its key players
• Proven experience in manufacturer management, product development, and technical file analysis
• Proficiency in Excel and office software; ERP/PLM knowledge highly valued
• Professional English required; Italian highly appreciated
• Strong product sensibility combined with rigorous organization and excellent prioritization skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, team spirit, proactivity, flexibility, and sense of responsibility
